We Own the Night
This 2007 film takes place in Brooklyn in the 80’s. Two brothers are opposites in one is a New York City police officer and the other manages a night club for Russian gangsters. You get the feeling that one brother does not feel included with the family since his father is also a police officer. They both eventually try to keep each other safe from the Russian Mafia. This movie is exciting from beginning to end. I liked this movie because it was not just about the Russian mafia trying to kill them but about family. Family is everything and they do everything in their power to find justice.
